Chief Scientist Dr. Roger Brooks to outline the use of machine learning and machine intelligence in Latin American cable operations

San Mateo, Calif. – June 8, 2017 – Guavus, Inc., a pioneer in developing Machine Intelligent, big data analytics platforms, today announced its participation in the upcoming TEPAL Congress 27, June 21-22 in Panama City, Panama. Guavus will participate in a panel discussion on how global operators are leveraging machine intelligence to transform network and service operations and advance the customer experience. TEPAL, the Organization of Associates and Telecommunication Companies for Latin America, represents pay TV operators and pay TV associations throughout 19 countries in Latin America and the Caribbean.

 

Machine Learning and Machine Intelligence in Cable Operations Session

Guavus’ Chief Scientist Dr. Roger Brooks, will join Humberto Garcìa Ferro, Secretary of TEPAL on June 21st at 4:15 pm on the academic/technical session entitled Machine Learning and Machine Intelligence in Cable Operations to discuss how global CSPs are using operations analytics to optimize the subscriber experience with substantive ROIs. Dr. Brooks will present real world examples that exemplify how analytics reduce the costs of cable operations while improving service assurance and discuss the use of machine learning and the potential of machine intelligence to automate network and service operations.

Opening Luncheon Sponsor

Guavus, along with TEPAL and Cable Onda will sponsor the opening luncheon 1:30 pm on June 21, which is expected to attract more than 250 C level executives from cable companies across Latin America.
