Guavus CEO & Founder, Anukool Lakhina, Receives Distinguished Alumni Award from Boston University College of Arts & Sciences

San Mateo, Calif. – September 22, 2015– Guavus, Inc., a leading provider of big data applications for operational intelligence, today announced that its CEO & Founder, Anukool Lakhina, has received a Distinguished Alumni Award from Boston University’s Department of Computer Science. Dr. Lakhina was recognized for his success building Guavus, whose technology is based on his Ph.D. dissertation that put forth the theory and algorithms for streaming analytics on high-dimensional data, into a global business.

Dr. Lakhina was presented with the award at Boston University’s Distinguished Alumni Colloquium & Reception, where he also presented on the emergence of Decision Science, a new paradigm that brings together computer science, data science and domain science and will form the future of big data analytics.
