Anukool founded Guavus with a vision to provide solutions for dynamic, data-driven decision-making. He brings more than a decade of thought leadership in large-scale data analytics and has published more than a dozen papers on the subject. His Ph.D. dissertation put forth the theory and algorithms for streaming analytics on high-dimensional data, which forms the basis for the technology at Guavus. Prior to Guavus, Anukool was at Intel Research and Sprint Labs. He holds a B.S., M.S. and a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Boston University.
Mike brings to Guavus more than 20 years of leadership experience in both venture-backed private and public technology companies. He has raised over $300 million in private capital under a variety of financing structures and market conditions, and he has structured, negotiated, closed and managed strategic partnerships that have generated revenue in excess of $200 million.
Mike previously served as chief financial officer of programmable logic solutions provider Tabula, where he played a key role in several debt and equity financings, strategic partnership activities, and technology joint development relationships. Prior to joining Tabula, he was executive vice president and chief financial officer of Copper Mountain Networks (Nasdaq: CMTN). Mike holds a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Michigan and an MBA from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.
Ty brings more than 20 years of experience and is responsible for sales and operations at Guavus. Prior to joining Guavus, Ty was senior vice president and general manager of VeriSign’s Communications Services Group (Acquired by Transaction Network Services) with full profit and loss responsibility ($200M+ in annual revenue) and management oversight of sales, marketing, product, engineering, and customer service. Prior to VeriSign, Ty was COO and President of inCode Wireless (Acquired by VeriSign) responsible for client service and service delivery of strategic consulting and engineering services to mobile operators in North America, APAC, and EMEA. In addition, he held senior positions at Northpoint Communications and Deloitte Consulting. He earned an MBA from the University of Michigan and a B.S. in Finance from the University of Illinois.
Roy Singh is Chief Technology Officer at Guavus. He has been involved in the enterprise technology and data analytics industries for over 20 years. He spent 5 years in leadership roles in Microsoft’s Enterprise Architecture team, and several years as a consultant focused on data analytics and enterprise architecture in the government, retail, transportation and telecommunications industries. He also has previous experience as an entrepreneur in the financial technology industry, and began his career with 8 years at the Boston Consulting Group, where he worked on strategy, technology and process issues at a range of leading global enterprises. Roy holds an MBA from INSEAD, France, and graduated with a BA in Mathematics from Merton College, Oxford University.
Eric is Vice President, Core Systems Group at Guavus where he is responsible for leading design and development of the Guavus Reflex Platform. He has been involved in the mobile industry for more than 14 years in a variety of roles and capacities. Prior to Guavus, Eric was vice president of mobile applications at Teleca, overseeing all aspects of their global mobile applications solutions. In this role, he was responsible for building the strategy, sales and delivery capabilities needed to help accelerate the mobile application demands of the industry. Eric joined Teleca from Loopt, a venture-backed startup, where he served as vice president of Products and Location Technologies. Eric also held senior positions at inCode Wireless (acquired by Verisign), a leading mobile consulting firm where he led the creation of multiple service lines; at Telispark (acquired by InfoWave), a mobile enterprise software company he founded; and at Deloitte Consulting, a global leader in telecommunications strategy and operations services. Eric was a Ph.D. candidate and holds a Masters degree from Stanford University. He also graduated from Carleton College with a BA in Computer Science, Economics and Math.
François de Repentigny brings to Guavus more than 15 years of senior management experience in both start-up and large telecom company environments. Prior to joining Guavus, Mr. de Repentigny was Director of Marketing for Vidéotron, a Montreal-based telecommunications firm where he was responsible for residential Internet and cable telephony services. While managing all commercialization activities for these services, Mr. de Repentigny exceeded all growth targets and led the market in terms of ARPU and churn.
Mr. de Repentigny also spent five years in a variety of senior strategic planning roles for Bell Canada. He was previously Director of Product Management at Clarent, a Silicon Valley-based VoIP company, managing product evolution through the company’s rise from small VC-backed start-up to publicly traded company with hundreds of customers generating more than $100M in annual revenues. He began his telecom career as an industry analyst at Frost & Sullivan, where he launched its VoIP practice, as well as wrote the firm’s top-selling report of all time.
Mr. de Repentigny holds an MSc in Operations Research from the London School of Economics and a BA Honours in Economics from the University of Waterloo.
Anita brings more than 25 years of diverse experience in Human Resources, Engineering, Quality, Product Management and Global SBU management in the Telecommunications space to the Guavus team. Prior to joining Guavus, she was responsible for global strategic initiatives for Aricent, where she leveraged business and operations experience to drive higher organization performance. She has experience in managing both products and services for telecom OEMs and service providers, global operations, alliances, mergers & acquisitions, and corporate social responsibility initiatives. Anita is a Global Professional in HR (GPHR®), holds a US patent for ‘Peripheral Apparatus for Intelligent Networks and Method for Providing User Services in intelligent Networks’ and a bachelor’s degree in Engineering from BITS Pilani.
