Anukool founded Guavus with a vision to provide solutions for dynamic, data-driven decision-making. He brings more than a decade of thought leadership in large-scale data analytics and has published more than a dozen papers on the subject. His Ph.D. dissertation put forth the theory and algorithms for streaming analytics on high-dimensional data, which forms the basis for the technology at Guavus. Prior to Guavus, Anukool was at Intel Research and Sprint Labs. He holds a B.S., M.S. and a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Boston University.
Ty brings more than 20 years of experience and is responsible for sales and operations at Guavus. Prior to joining Guavus, Ty was senior vice president and general manager of VeriSign’s Communications Services Group (Acquired by Transaction Network Services) with full profit and loss responsibility ($200M+ in annual revenue) and management oversight of sales, marketing, product, engineering, and customer service. Prior to VeriSign, Ty was COO and President of inCode Wireless (Acquired by VeriSign) responsible for client service and service delivery of strategic consulting and engineering services to mobile operators in North America, APAC, and EMEA. In addition, he held senior positions at Northpoint Communications and Deloitte Consulting. He earned an MBA from the University of Michigan and a B.S. in Finance from the University of Illinois.
Louis Brun is a seasoned entrepreneur with a long and successful track record as an executive in the mobile telecommunications and IT industries. Prior to co-founding Neuralitic Systems in 2006, Mr. Brun was based in Paris, France where he handled EMEA business development activities for Invidex, an innovative provider of transmission management software for broadcasters. Invidex was sold to Aldeavision in February 2006 (TSXV: AVS). Before joining Invidex, Mr. Brun co-founded Lipso, a company at the forefront of mobile messaging in Canada. Mr. Brun also served as Business Manager at Ericsson where he completely redefined a product line in the OSS area, the revenues of which increased tenfold under his leadership. Mr. Brun has solid experience in venture capital, business strategy and product strategies. Mr. Brun holds a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Université Laval and has completed studies in actuarial methods.
Eric is Senior Vice President, Engineering at Guavus where he is responsible for leading design and development of the Guavus Reflex Platform. He has been involved in the mobile industry for more than 14 years in a variety of roles and capacities. Prior to Guavus, Eric was vice president of mobile applications at Teleca, overseeing all aspects of their global mobile applications solutions. In this role, he was responsible for building the strategy, sales and delivery capabilities needed to help accelerate the mobile application demands of the industry. Eric joined Teleca from Loopt, a venture-backed startup, where he served as vice president of Products and Location Technologies. Eric also held senior positions at inCode Wireless (acquired by Verisign), a leading mobile consulting firm where he led the creation of multiple service lines; at Telispark (acquired by InfoWave), a mobile enterprise software company he founded; and at Deloitte Consulting, a global leader in telecommunications strategy and operations services. Eric was a Ph.D. candidate and holds a Masters degree from Stanford University. He also graduated from Carleton College with a BA in Computer Science, Economics and Math.
Anita brings more than 25 years of diverse experience in Human Resources, Engineering, Quality, Product Management and Global SBU management in the Telecommunications space to the Guavus team. Prior to joining Guavus, she was responsible for global strategic initiatives for Aricent, where she leveraged business and operations experience to drive higher organization performance. She has experience in managing both products and services for telecom OEMs and service providers, global operations, alliances, mergers & acquisitions, and corporate social responsibility initiatives. Anita is a Global Professional in HR (GPHR®), holds a US patent for ‘Peripheral Apparatus for Intelligent Networks and Method for Providing User Services in intelligent Networks’ and a bachelor’s degree in Engineering from BITS Pilani.
David brings more than thirty years experience in the CATV and Media verticals. This includes demonstrable performance selling to Tier One MSO’s. Prior to joining Guavus, David was SVP Sales for Alticast, a leading supplier of CPE software solutions to both MSO’s and OEM partners. Key accomplishments at Alticast include helping increase sales to $20M from $15M and securing Comcast as a customer.
David has also held senior positions at the following companies respectively: iNovo Broadband (SVP Sales), Panasonic (Group VP), BigBand Networks (VP Sales), Vyyo (SVP Sales), N2 Broadband (SVP) and SVP for Concurrent Computer.
David holds a B.A. degree from Lafayette College, and an M.S. from Syracuse University.
